රසායනික පොහොර ආනයනය ඉදිරි කෙටි කාලය තුළදී සම්පූර්ණයෙන් නතර කරන බව ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා තම මුහුණු පොතේ සටහනක් තබමින් අවධාරණය කර ඇත.

රසායනික පොහොර භාවිතයෙන් ඉහළ අස්වැන්නක් ගත හැකිය. වැව්, ඇලවේලී සහ භූගත ජලය දූෂණයෙන් ජීවිතවලට වන හානිය එම ලාභයෙන් පියවිය නොහැකිය. රසායනික පොහොරවල බලපෑම වකුගඩු රෝගය ඇතුළු බෝ නොවන රෝග රැසකට හේතු වී ඇතැයි සෞඛ්‍ය අංශ පෙන්වා දෙති. ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා වැයවන මුදල සහ ජිවිතවලට වන බලපෑම ඉහළය. නිරෝගී සහ ඵලදායී පුරවැසියෙක් බිහි කිරීමට නම් රජය විසින් වස විසෙන් තොර ආහාර වේලක් සඳහා ජනතාවට ඇති අයිතිය සහතික කළ යුතුය. ඒ වෙනුවෙන් මෙරට කෘෂිකර්මාන්තය මුළුමනින්ම කාබනික පොහොර භාවිතයට යොමු කරන බව ජනාධිපතිතුමා කියා සිටී.

අද (22) පස්වරුවේ කොටුව ජනාධිපති මන්දිරයේ දී රාජ්‍ය සංස්ථා සහ ව්‍යවස්ථාපිත මණ්ඩලවල ප්‍රධානීහු සමග පැවති හමුවේ දී ජනාධිපතිතුමා මේ බව සඳහන් කළේය.
මෙරට කාබනික පොහොර නිෂ්පාදනය ඉහළ නැංවීමට සියලු පාර්ශ්ව මැදිහත්විය යුතුය. පොහොර සහනාධාරය වෙනුවට කාබනික පොහොර ලබාදීමට සැලසුම් කරන බව ජනාධිපතිතුමා කියා සිටී. වාර්ෂිකව පොහොර ආනයනය සදහා වැය කෙරෙන ඩොලර් මිලියන 400ක මුදල ජන ජීවිතය නගා සිටුවීමට යොදාගත හැකි බව ජනාධිපතිතුමා පෙන්වා දුන්නේය.

තමා බලයට පත් කිරීමෙන් ජනතාව ප්‍රතිපත්තිමය වෙනසක් අපේක්ෂා කළහ. රට වෙනුවෙන් එම අපේක්ෂා ඉටු කර ගැනීමට සියලු දෙනාගේ සහය අවශ්‍ය බව ජනාධිපතිතුමා කියා සිටියේය.

එතනෝල් ගෙන්වීම සම්පූර්ණයෙන් නතර කිරීමෙන් අඛණ්ඩව පාඩු ලැබූ ලංකා සීනි සමාගම අත්කරගත් ලාභය මිලියන 1100කි. වසර 20කට ආසන්න කාලයක් අනියම් හා කොන්ත්‍රාත් පදනම මත සේවය කළ 2500කට ආසන්න පිරිසක් ස්ථීර කිරීමට, උසස්වීම් සහ ප්‍රසාද දීමනා දීමට එමගින් හැකි වූ බව ලංකා සීනි සමාගමේ සභාපතිවරයා පැවසීය.
ජනාධිපතිතුමා ගෙන යන වැඩපිළිවෙළින් පාඩු ලැබූ ආයතන රැසක් ලාභ ලබන තත්ත්වයට ගෙන ඒමට හැකි වූ බව සභාපතිවරු පෙන්වා දුන්හ.

“සෞභාග්‍යයේ දැක්ම” තුළින් ආයතන ළගා විය යුතු ඉලක්ක පැහැදිළිව දක්වා තිබේ. කැබිනට්, රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍යාංශවලට අදාළ ආයතන සහ අත්කරගත යුතු ප්‍රගතිය පැහැදිළිව සඳහන් කර ඇත. සාමුහික වගකීමක් ඇතිව වැඩ කර ජනතාව බලාපොරොත්තු වූ ප්‍රතිපත්තිමය වෙනස ළගා කර ගැනීමට කැපවන ලෙස ජනාධිපතිතුමා සභාපතිවරුන්ට පැවසීය.

இரசாயன உரங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவதன் மூலம் அதிக விளைச்சலை பெற முடியும். குளங்கள், கால்வாய்கள் மற்றும் நிலத்தடி நீர் மாசுபடுவதால் உயிர்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் சேதத்தை அந்த இலாபத்தால் ஈடுசெய்ய முடியாது. இரசாயன உரங்களின் தாக்கம் சிறுநீரக நோய் உட்பட பல தொற்றா நோய்களுக்கு வழிவகுத்துள்ளது என்று சுகாதார அதிகாரிகள் சுட்டிக்காட்டுகின்றனர்.
சிகிச்சைக்காக செலவாகும் தொகை மற்றும் உயிர்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் தாக்கம் அதிகம்.
ஆரோக்கியமான மற்றும் உற்பத்தித்திறன் வாய்ந்த பிரஜையை உருவாக்குவதற்கு, நச்சு அல்லாத உணவுக்கான மக்களின் உரிமையை அரசாங்கம் உத்தரவாதம் செய்ய வேண்டும். இந்த நோக்கத்திற்காக நாட்டின் விவசாயத்துறையில் சேதன உரங்களைப் பயன்படுத்துவதற்கு பழக்கப்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று ஜனாதிபதி அவர்கள் தெரிவித்தார்.
இன்று பிற்பகல் (22) கோட்டையில் உள்ள ஜனாதிபதி மாளிகையில் இடம்பெற்ற அரச கூட்டுத்தாபனங்கள் மற்றும் சட்டவாக்க சபைகளின் தலைவர்களுடனான சந்திப்பின் போதே ஜனாதிபதி அவர்கள் இதனை தெரிவித்தார்.
நாட்டில் சேதன உர உற்பத்தியை அதிகரிக்க அனைத்து தரப்பினரும் கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். உர மானியத்திற்கு பதிலாக சேதன உரத்தை பெற்றுக்கொடுக்க திட்டமிடுவதாக ஜனாதிபதி அவர்கள் தெரிவித்தார். உர இறக்குமதிக்காக ஆண்டுதோறும் செலவிடப்படும் 400 மில்லியன் டொலர்கள் மக்களின் வாழ்க்கையை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட முடியும் என்று ஜனாதிபதி அவர்கள் சுட்டிக்காட்டினார்.
தன்னை அதிகாரத்திற்கு தெரிவு செய்ததன் மூலம் மக்கள் கொள்கை சார்ந்த மாற்றத்தை எதிர்பார்த்தனர். நாட்டிற்காக அந்த எதிர்பார்ப்புகளை நிறைவேற்ற அனைவரின் ஆதரவும் தேவை என்று ஜனாதிபதி அவர்கள் கூறினார்.
எத்தனோல் இறக்குமதி முழுமையாக நிறுத்தப்பட்டதன் மூலம் இலங்கை சீனி நிறுவனம் ரூ. 1100 மில்லியனை இலாபமாக பெற்றுள்ளது. சுமார் 20 ஆண்டுகளாக சாதாரண மற்றும் ஒப்பந்த அடிப்படையில் பணியாற்றி வரும் சுமார் 2500 பேருக்கு நிரந்தர நியமனம் வழங்கவும் பதவி உயர்வு மற்றும் போனஸ் ஆகியவற்றைப் பெறவும் முடிந்தது என்று இலங்கை சீனி நிறுவனத்தின் தலைவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
ஜனாதிபதி அவர்கள் முன்னெடுத்து வரும் நிகழ்ச்சித் திட்டத்தால் நட்டத்தில் இயங்கிய பல நிறுவனங்களை இலாபகரமான நிறுவனங்களாக மாற்ற முடிந்தது என்று தலைவர்கள் சுட்டிக்காட்டினர்.
நிறுவனங்கள் அடைய வேண்டிய இலக்குகள் தொடர்பில் “சுபீட்சத்தின் நோக்கு” கொள்கை திட்டத்தில் தெளிவாகக் கூறுப்பட்டுள்ளது. அமைச்சரவை, இராஜாங்க அமைச்சுகளுக்கு தொடர்புடைய நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் அடைய வேண்டிய முன்னேற்றம் ஆகியவை பற்றி தெளிவாகக் கூறப்பட்டுள்ளன. கூட்டுப் பொறுப்புடன் பணியாற்றி மக்கள் விரும்பும் கொள்கை மாற்றத்தை அடைய அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயற்படுமாறு ஜனாதிபதி அவர்கள் தலைவர்களிடம் கூறினார்.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa stressed that the importation of chemical fertilizers will be completely stopped in the near future.
The usage of chemical fertilizers leads to a better harvest. However, the negative consequences caused on human lives through pollution of lakes, canals and groundwater due to the chemical fertilizers outweigh the profit.

The health sector has pointed out that the effects of chemical fertilizers have led to a number of non-communicable diseases, including kidney diseases.
The expenses to treat these patients and the impact on human lives caused by these chemical fertilizers remain high. In order to produce a healthy and productive citizenry, the government must ensure the right of the people to access a non-toxic and balanced diet. President Rajapaksa said that measures will be taken to ensure that only organic fertilizer would be used in the agriculture sector in the country in the future.

The President shared these views at a meeting held with the heads of state corporations and statutory boards at the President’s House this afternoon (22).
All the respective parties should intervene to increase the production of organic fertilizer in the country. The President said that organic fertilizer will be provided in lieu of the concessionary fertilizer package for farmers.

The President highlighted that the annual sum of USD 400 million spent on fertilizer imports could be used to uplift the lives of the people.
The President said that the people expected a change in policy by electing him into the Office. President Rajapaksa said that the support of everyone is needed to fulfil those aspirations for the country.

Lanka Sugar Company (Pvt) Limited which incurred continuous losses has made a profit of Rs. 1,100 million following the ban on ethanol imports. The Chairman of Lanka Sugar Company said that about 2,500 employees who were on contract basis for about some 20 years have been made permanent and given promotions and bonuses from the profit.

The Chairpersons pointed out that the President’s programme has helped in transforming many loss-making institutions into profitable ones.
The “Vistas of Prosperity and Splendour” National Policy Framework clearly sets out the goals that the institutions must achieve. The progress that the institutions under the purview of Cabinet and State Ministries have also been clearly enumerated in the National Policy Framework. President Rajapaksa told the chairpersons to work with collective responsibility and commit to achieving the policy change that the people aspired.
Secretary to the President P.B. Jayasundera, Senior Adviser to the President Lalith Weeratunga and Finance Ministry Secretary S.R. Attygalle were also present at the occasion.
